History Book Festival

The History Book Festival is a first-of-its kind way to hear more than 20 best-selling authors of current non-fiction and fiction. We’ve selected writers and subjects to appeal to history buffs and readers ranging from the most serious to the more casual.  Their discussions will be introduced by experts who will share insights and facilitate audience questions.

Set in a town with unexpectedly rich history and architecture, graced with beautiful bay and ocean beaches, two lighthouses and a famous ferry, the festival is expected to draw people from up and down the East Coast. The schedule will ensure there’s time for you to carry the Festival out into Lewes’ historical, dining and shopping district.

All books will be available for purchase at the Festival, at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth, and at Biblion in Lewes. There will also be a ticketed event that will include a book with the price of admission.  Want to read them in advance? You can check them out at your local library pending availability, with many of these books available for check out at Lewes Public Library.
