Remote and liking it?

People who live at the beach and get to see the ocean on a daily basis are lucky individuals.  The smell of the ocean can never be explained.  The feeling of the sand between your toes is a feeling like no other. Many people have never seen the ocean and have only felt sand between their toes while sitting on the edge of a sandbox.  As locals to Coastal Delaware, do we take this glorious sight for granted?  Nahhhh!!!

The remoteness is wonderful, yet the proximity of these little coastal towns allows a quick escape to the city to take in some culture.  Coastal Delaware is three and half hours from Manhattan, two hours from Baltimore and Philadelphia, and only two- and one-half hours from Washington DC.  How many people have access to four major cities like this?  Delawareans are lucky to live in this sweet seclusion and still take advantage of all that a city has to offer.

So, when you decide to take a day trip or even a long weekend to experience a bit of the night life and culture, take a peek at the list of a few places you shouldn’t miss in each city.  Enjoy.
